A Foil Drive is an Electric Retrofit HydroFoil Motor Kit that attaches to the Mast of a Foil, allowing the Foil Surfer to use a battery powered assist to gain the speed needed to raise the Board onto Foil.
No wind necessary!
Using a Foil Drive to assist the Surfer on Foil is different from an e-Foil riding experience, and we use it as a tool to learn how to transition to Wing Foiling and/or other types of Foil Surf. When the Foil Surfer gains their balance on Foil with the Foil Drive Motor turned on, they can pop up completely on Foil and release the power to the Foil Drive allowing them to learn the balance of the Foil and start to using the momentum generated by the Foil Drive, and their body weight to stay up on Foil.

Beg-Int Foil Drive Foil Lesson
Either a One-on-One, Individual Lesson or a 2-Person Max Lesson offering a focused Foil Board Riding experience with an electric powered Foil Drive Assist System.
It is a great Lesson to choose if you are transitioning to the Foil when learning to WingFoil, Wind Foil, Prone Foil, Wake Foil, Downwind Foil, SUP Foil and/or other types of Foil Surf!
If you are already riding on Foil, but would like to hone in on using your body weight and momentum only to ride on Foil this Lesson is perfect!
Our focus in using the Foil Drive System is as an Assist tool toward learning how to ride a Foil without a motor. We set up the gear and Lesson Plan to focus on Foil Riding, Gliding and Pumping, rather than using the Foil Drive as an eFoil.
